Two UK innovators of mixing - The late Froggy & Les Adams circa
1982

This is Les' girlfriend - "The Angel Princes" as he calls her. Real name
Shoba, they have been together for 5 years and she is the love of his life, apart from his daughter Rebecca,

One for the anoraks! Les Adams circa 1980, pictured at the console in his
first home studio where shows were made for pirate stations Solar, Horizon, Radio Jackie, Radio Contact and his
early DMC mixes were produced.
Of particular interest is the GLi 3990 mixer. This was the first privately
owned 3990 in the UK and was the classic and ground breaking US mixer. It was the first DJ mixer to feature both a
sliding X-fader with rotary volume controls and split-cue monitoring and was the mixer on which Les learned his
craft. Note also the array of home-made buttons and switches that remote operated the turntables, NAB cart machines
and fired primitive samplers!

Jackie to raise money fo charity. Pictured here in his first studio with Revox
