Dancefloor Classics - Radio Days

Radio Days is a new and unique radio experience package suitable for professional or amateur DJ’s and complete novices.

Radio Days are for anyone interested in radio either professionally, as a hobby or just wanting to “have a go”!

Radio Days let you experience what it is like to be at the controls of a professional radio studio where you present your own show and choose all the music, playing dedications to friends and family. At the end of the day, you have your show to keep on CD forever.

Radio Days include full access to our database of 1000's of 70's and 80's soul and jazz funk tunes plus thousands more top 40 hits from the 1960's, to 2011.

Radio Days shows are recorded to broadcast standard and full creative and technical assistance is given throughout by Les Adams.

Radio Days may also be used to make radio or club demos, podcasts, show reels or complete programs.

Former DMC World Mixing Champion Cutmaster Swift came to our studio for a Radio Day

Richard Marzetti produced such a good show on his radio day session that he was invited to make a show for broadcast by solar Radio. He returned to our studio to make the show which has been broadcast and will be repeated on the network. A Solar spokesman said "Richard is a star in the making and we would welcome him on board our team of dj's."

Phil Bradley from Northampton came well prepared and produced a two hour show of classic and contemporary soul

Lee Collins who now lives in Spain came to our studio on a visit to the UK and recorded a show packed with soul and boogie classics from the 70's to present day. Paul enjoyed himself so much he came back to make a second show in February.

Paul Goggin came to record his show accompanied by his good freind Vince Meakin. Both are big fans of Dancefloor Classics and had a fantastic day.

James' preparation was immaculate with prepared playlist, music files and script.

Steve "Soul Boy" Grace came well prepared and recorded his show in our studio

Good freinds and "soul buddies" Dave and Steve made a double booking and each recorded their own excellent shows jam packed with soul gems and custom made jingles

David Lawrence made his own show. The session was a Christmas present from his wife Nicola

Jonathan and John came to record their own "Dancefloor Classics" show in our studio.

'My brother and I recently went to Les's studio to create our very own Dancefloor Classics show. It was an excellent day and well worth the money. Les's expert knowledge made us feel at ease and made the whole experience of DJing very easy. We had a great day and came away with a copy of our DJ show to take home. Regular Dancefloor Classics and Solar radio listener Rory O'Neil came to record his own show in our studio to give to friends and family.

Rory arrived well prepared with scripts and played an awesome selection of music from our database and his own collection of soul. "Making my own show was a dream come true for me. It is wonderful that such an oportunity is available to people who have no experience in radio. I am very happy with the results".

"It was a fantastic experience, something I have always wanted to do. I had no previous experience of being in a radio environment, but once Les had shown me the basics I found the studio very easy to operate and the initial nervousness I felt soon vanished. I was able to produce a show that will impress my family and friends and one that I am personally very happy with. I would recommend anybody to have a go. Even if you don't want a career in radio, it is just great fun".

David Lewis and his daughter Alycia came along and made a 2 hour soul charged show. Alycia is learning to play the saxophone and is the youngest person to visit our studio. She took to the mic during David's show to talk about her music!

David said after the recording "The day was all I hope for and more, far exceeding my expectations and we both had a wonderful time, We will be back again to make another show in the new year
